The story begins summer of '95 when we answered an ad in the local newspaper about the car. After a phone call we found it in a garage down our own street. It was disassembled, but had new sheet metal and paint. There were many new parts in the cars trunk and interior, still in the
original boxes. We towed it down our street and put it in the garage to begin the restoration. It was a numbers matching car with the following options:
455 engine
W-25 ram air hood
power windows
power steering
Hurst Dual Gate shifter
Rally Pack and Tic-Toc Tach
factory hood lock
bucket seats
A/C
power disc brakes
rear bumper with exhaust cut outs
Viking Blue with black top, stripes, and interior
Turbo 400 trans
Limited Slip Differential
I have found out that we are only the third owners of the car. I have spoken to the original owner, and she would like to see it when it is finished this year.
